9. I cannot believe all the stuff you want to pull (off).
我真不敢相信全部這些你想作的壞事。
Pull 是用手「拉」的意思，跟 Push 「推」這個字剛好是天生的一對，所以在門上常常可以看到一邊寫 Pull，而另一邊寫 Push。不過在口語上 Pull 有另外的解釋，就是指幹壞事，或是你想作一些不想讓別人知道的勾當。例如 pull off a robbery (搶劫), pull a prank (惡作劇) 和 pull an all-nighter (開夜車) 等都是常用的例子。例如，"We laughed so hard by all the pranks he tried to pull." (我們對他想開的這些玩笑狂笑不止。)
