2. Could you stop flipping the channels?

你能不能不要一直轉台啊？

"Stop flipping the channels." 和 "Stop changing the channels." 這兩句話都是請人家不要一直轉台轉來轉去。這種句子稱為祈使句，特色是沒有主詞，專門用來命令別人作一件事。要客氣一點的話，加上一個 please，就成了，"Please stop flipping the channels." 真的很客氣的話，用 could you，就成了 "Could you stop flipping the channels?"

另外老美也說 "Stop switching channels." 或是 "Stop jumping the channels." 也都是可以接受的用法。
