Chinese live-streaming services have banned people filming themselves eating bananas in an erotic manner. New regulations mean that live-streaming sites must monitor all their output round-the-clock to ensure nothing untoward is going on.
中國網路直播服務已禁止人們以情色方式，拍攝自己食用香蕉的影片。新規定意指直播網站必須全天候監控所有播出，以確保沒有不當內容呈現在觀眾眼前。
Chinese webcam industry is exploding in popularity, attracting more and more users. Young camgirls － or online hostesses － can make some cash. Those with enough followers can earn between 10,000 to 100,000 yuan per month, by enticing and teasing their viewers into purchasing virtual gifts, like roses, chocolates and designer bags, and splitting the revenue with the streaming companies.

According to government statistics, live-broadcast sites in China have a total of 200 million registered users. A survey cited by CCTV said 30-40 percent of the viewers in live-streams were students, while 77 percent of the viewers were male users.
