找到好房子真得很困難，先來預習一些經常看到的字彙：

Deposit: 在租約期間，公寓有任何損壞必須支付給房東一筆款項（通常是一個月或兩個月房租）。

Lease/Rental agreement: 一個法律文件記載租約期、承租人及合約內容（條件）。

Rent: 每月承租人支付費用。

Tenant: 租公寓的人(即承租人)。

Utilities: 公共事業。例如：瓦斯、水電。 租房廣告一般刊登在線上分類、報紙或超商公佈欄。

充分收集租房資訊將有助於找到理想的公寓。你可以直接打電話給他們詢問：

"Hi, I’m calling about the apartment for rent. Is it still available?"(嗨，我想要了解這個公寓是否租出去了？)

"I’d like to see it. Would you mind if I ask a few questions about the apartment first?" (我想要來看房子，你介意我詢問一些問題嗎？)

關於公寓的問題

Where's the apartment located? (這個公寓在什麼地點？)

Is the apartment furnished or unfurnished? (這個公寓什麼時候可以出租？)

How long is the lease? (租約有多長呢？)

How much is the rent? (房租多少呢？)

Does the rent include utilities? (房租有包含公共事業嗎？)

Are pets allowed? (可以養寵物嗎？)

關於公寓四周環境的問題

How close is it to public transportation? (距離大眾運輸距離？)

How far is it from the school? (離學校有多遠？)

Is it close to the university? (離大學近嗎？)

Are there any facilities in the building? (是否有任何設施建築？)

Is there a place to park my car? (有沒有停車場？)
