Is there a view from there?

從那裏有任何視野嗎？

一般人喜歡住的房子都是展望好，採光佳。像這些要求在英文裏要怎麼表達？首先「展望好」可以簡單地說，"Is there a view from there?" 或是 "Does it have a view?" 這個 view 就代表了「視野、展望」的意思。注意一下，受到母語干擾的關係，很多人會說成 "Is there any view from there?" 這裏用 any view 是不對的，這裏要用 a view 才行。大家應該知道有部很有名的電影叫「窗外有藍天」吧！這部電影原來的名稱就是 "A Room with a View."

至於採光的話我們可以用到 natural light (自然光) 或是 sunlight (陽光) 這兩個字。例如你可以問房東， "Does the apartment get much natural light?" 或是 "Does the room receive much sunlight?" 意思都是問說「房子裏採光好不好？」
